Well hello there! It's been a minute. As I've been looking back at the start of 2025, it looked rough. But for me, staying focused on what truly mattered really made a difference. I've been surprisingly quiet for most of the year, prioritizing my family and work, and to be honest, I've been really good. I've had some major milestones with family - I have a new nephew, my oldest got his driver's license, my youngest graduated 8th grade, and in work, I've really been working on some foundational aspects of my business and life to make things run more smoothly with better (and more realistic) processes that prioritize lower stress and overwhelm, in line with one of my themes of 2025, Foundational Excellence. While I continue to figure out a way to communicate business updates (it is admittedly nowhere near where I want it to be), I'm going to do what I can, so below are all the amazing projects I'm working on currently and how I can support you! Cheers!
THE ACCOMPLISHMENT PROJECT As many of you know, I've been working on a book project for a few years now, and it's been slowly moving (which I anticipated, but I wasn't satisfied with my progress to date). In last year's annual planning retreat, I needed to "up" the fun factor on this project to help make a little more progress, and in that discovery, I decided that because this project is going to take a while, I wanted to make the progress more visible, as a way to hold myself accountable and get people excited about (and aware of) what I'm working on. As part of this project, there was a data collection process that requires at least 100 interviews - so the exciting update is that I will be launching a podcast in the fall! I will send quick updates through my newsletters, but you can get more detailed updates by visiting my website for the project: www.theaccomplishmentproject.com I launch new posts on Fridays and the podcast episodes will air on Tuesdays once the podcast launches. Check it out! ACCOUNTABILITY SUCCESS CIRCLE Speaking of "up"-ping the fun... SCIENCE OF PEOPLE I continue to support Science of People as the hands-on coach for thousands of students who seek to gain confidence in their communication and presentation skills. Vanessa, the company's founder, has been crushing it in the podcast space, including two episodes on The Diary of a CEO Podcast (one which has almost 10M views on YouTube!), one on Jay Shetty's Podcast, and one one Khloé Kardashian's Podcast! It's been a wild journey watching this unfold behind the scenes, and it has brought an amazing crop of students that I get to support with their communication skills and personal/professional goals.
