Your LOW-STRESS New Year's "Do Over" is Inside

Happy new year, Reader!

Right about now, the gyms are probably packed, many people have been spending the past 4 days capitalizing on the excitement that the new year brings, and more than likely, many of those people will burn out on their resolutions in the next couple weeks and go back to whatever it was they were doing before the holidays.

Me? I've been trying to keep up on some brand new but SIMPLE initiatives that I kicked off this year, nothing too overwhelming, but so far, so good! And while I have had the itch to hit the ground running on my daily routines, (including wanting to send this email days ago...), I just couldn't get myself to do it. My kids are home, my husband's desire to rest has rendered me a little lazier than usual, and I'm just not ready to move too much yet. And I've actually had my goals for 2025 in the works since October, of which part of those goals was to have an easy and relaxing winter break with my family, doing what I could, when I could. I was successful with that, and that's all that matters.

The reason why New Year's resolutions don't work is because people don't really take the time to create solid, purposeful goals. They choose goals that "sound" good, and have good outcomes, but don't really think about how to successfully execute them in a sustainable way. The hurried approach to goal-setting and execution simply does not work, and I know this because I myself have been fine-tuning a process to lead a life with more intention and ease, and have worked with hundreds of people to do the same.

So, as I prepare for my kids to go back to school tomorrow, I am anxious to get back to being focused and getting things done, AND doing so without stress and overwhelm. If you're in the same boat, either a parent who is getting excited for your kids to get back to school in order to focus on your to-do list, or someone who just didn't feel ready to kick off the new year just yet, how about we "start" our "new year" a little later - lets say, Monday, January 13th - instead?!

Over the course of this week, I want to share with you some tips about how to create more intentional goals that you can actually achieve. Then, on Thursday (January 9th) at 6pm CT, I am co-hosting a live workshop that will help you get your mind ready to take action and build momentum on the personal or professional goals that are most important to you right now. Finally, starting Monday January 13th, I will personally support you on an epic 30-day journey of growth and getting stuff done, at no cost.
